How Therapy Works

First, it’s important to make sure we are a good “fit”.

Therapy is most successful when there is a strong therapeutic relationship between therapist and client. Most clients I see in my practice are ready and willing to embrace change and work hard to dig deep into themselves.

Therapy is a truly unique experience for each and every client. We will start by meeting once per week for 50 minutes to develop clear goals and outcomes about what you want your life to look like in order to thrive. We will talk and peel back the layers to explore your roadblocks and limiting patterns that have been holding you back up until now. We will then explore shifts in the way you think and act that will bring a renewed sense of hope and empowerment.

Therapy is a path towards self-discovery.

Though this journey is exhilarating, it can often bring up difficult emotions and feelings that are necessary for you to work through to experience true personal growth. During our therapy sessions, I will listen empathically and provide a space of complete acceptance.
